Coffee Place was established in 2005 by the Sharp family, who have been integrally involved in agriculture for many years, and in coffee production since 1985. At that time, Richard, inspired by his father ‘LW’, left his Accountant role and the corporate world, purchased his farmer boots, and planted his first set of coffee seedlings at the family-owned Clifton Mount Estate. This breath-taking Estate is located in the heart of the cool, misty Blue Mountains at 4,300 ft above sea level, and is the oldest functioning coffee estate in the World, with a rich history of coffee production.
